Long Beach, Calif. - The Long Beach City College men's soccer team posted its 2021 schedule, announced Wednesday.

Long Beach opens its season with four matches on the road, heading to Chaffey on Friday, Aug. 27, Orange Coast on Tuesday, Aug. 31, Cypress on Friday, Sept. 3, and Cuyamaca on Friday, Sept. 10. The Vikings wrap non-conference play by hosting Golden West (Sept. 14), heading to San Diego City (Sept. 17), and then back-to-back home matches against LA Mission (Sept. 21) and San Bernardino Valley (Sept. 28).

The team opens South Coast Conference play against LA City on Tuesday, Oct. 5. All SCC matches will be played at 4 p.m. except the October 15 match at LA Harbor, which is slated to begin at 6 p.m.

The Vikings finished 2019 with a 6-10-6 overall record, 3-3-2 in the South Coast Conference. The team wrapped up its season tying LA Harbor, 5-5, in the seventh place match of the SCC Tournament.
