The No.9 Long Beach City College women's basketball team took down the No. 8 Bakersfield College 69-59 on Thursday afternoon in Round 2 of the California Community College Athletics Association SoCal Regionals.

The Vikings will now move on to Round 3, where they will travel to No. 1 Mt. San Antonio College on Saturday, March 5 at 7 p.m.

The Vikings have met with the Mounties twice already this season. The Mounties went 8-0 in the South Coast Conference-North Division and collected their 20^th title this season.
