• President, National Governing Body for the Olympic Sport of Water Polo (1990-96 & 2000-06)
• General Counsel, United States Water Polo, Inc. (1982-1990)
• United States Water Polo Hall of Fame
• Recipient of U.S. Water Polo Award (highest award presented by U.S. Water Polo, Inc.)
• Recipient of the Paragon Award (presented by International Swimming Hall of Fame for contributions to the sport of water polo)
