Long Beach City College won its fourth straight game, including a 7-3 South Coast Conference victory at Los Angeles Harbor College on Saturday to wrap up a three-game sweep of the Seahawks. Long Beach currently sits tied for first place in the SCC with Cerritos College at 14-4 with just three games left to play in the regular season.

Long Beach City College closed out the week with a two-game sweep of the Antelope Valley College Marauders. On Tuesday, the Vikings cruised to a 7-1 win at home and picked up a 5-2 victory on the road in Lancaster on Thursday to improve to 8-6 overall.

Long Beach City College Baseball head coach Casey Crook still stands tied with Joe Hicks as the college's all-time wins leader with 513 after the Vikings suffered a 5-2 non-conference loss at Santa Ana College on Saturday. Crook gets his next chance to break the record on Tuesday when the Vikings travel to Irvine Valley College.

Long Beach City College totaled a season-high 14 hits but also set a new high mark by leaving 12 runners on base in a narrow 6-5 non-conference loss at Oxnard College on Saturday. LBCC’s third straight loss dropped the Vikings to 1-3 overall.
