Long Beach City College freshman Alexis Ceballos capped an impressive first season as a Viking with an 119th-place finish at the 2014 California Community College Athletic Association (CCCAA) Cross Country Championship in Fresno on Saturday.

Long Beach City College freshman Alexis Ceballos has earned a spot in the state championships thanks to her 81st-place finish at the Southern California Regional Championships in Van Nuys on Friday.

Freshman Alexis Ceballos ran 21:03.6 and finished in 31st place to lead the Long Beach City College Women’s Cross Country team at the Brubaker Invitational at Irvine Regional Park in Orange on Friday.

Long Beach City College freshman Alexis Ceballos ran 20:32.3 to finish in 57th place to lead the Vikings at the Southern California Preview meet on Friday morning at Woodley Park in Van Nuys.
