LBCC Cheer and Dance Team

Long Beach City College has one of the top community college cheer programs on the West Coast. LBCC was crowned National Champions in 2018,  2013, and 2005 and has been extremely competitive on a national level for the past 15 years. The cheer program has been involved in movies such as "Hot Chick" and "Bring it on yet again", and recently have been on the show "Dating: No Filter" and "Goliath". Donate to the Cheer team here.

 
These student-athletes are trained by the best and develop competitive skills that will help them excel in the industry. Numerous of LBCC's former cheerleaders are now instructing and choreographing professionally and have gone on to cheer at the university and all-star levels.  LBCC Cheer has been the National Champions in 2005, 2013, 2018, 2021-2025 and the State Champion from 2013-2022. LBCC Cheer has been nationally ranked top 3 for the past 20 years. In April 2023, LBCC Cheer competed in Daytona Florida, and placed fourth.

Tryouts will be held on:

1. April 14th workshop 4-6
2. April 16th workshop 4-6
3. April 21st evaluation 4-6
4. April 23rd tryouts 4-7

In the Hall of Champions upper-level gym each day. Please meet us inside the gym.
