Athletics: Vikings volunteer at Buffum TLC Trunk or Treat

Members of the Long Beach City College Baseball, Softball, and Men's Volleyball teams spent their Friday morning volunteering at the Buffum Total Learning Center Trunk or Treak.

Long Beach City College Athletics would like to thank our Baseball, Softball, and Men’s Volleyball programs for their time volunteering at Buffum Total Learning Center on Friday at their annual Trunk or Treat event! Buffum is a local elementary school for specials needs students and this was their big event. Our student-athletes did a tremendous job representing LBCC and Athletics!

Buffum normally relies on parent volunteers and have great difficulty getting enough parents at this event. We had 17 students there and the administrators, teachers, and parents were all greatly appreciative of our assistance and very impressed by our students!

This is a wonderful example of our students’ commitment to our department, LBCC, and the Long Beach community as well. Thank you to Baseball head coach Casey Crook, Men's Volleyball head coach Jonathan Charette, and Softball head coach Megan Martinez for providing their student-athletes. They were awesome!
