Men's Soccer's Ribet Signs Professional Contract with LA Force

Long Beach City College men's soccer athlete Christopher Ribet recently signed at the professional level with the Los Angeles Force.

"Coach Beaulac and the LBCC family has definitely given me the strength to believe in myself and help me accomplish the things I want to do if I put my head down and continue to work, and for that I am sincerely thankful because I might not be here today without that push," said Ribet.

The Los Angeles Force is a professional soccer club that plays in the National Independent Soccer Association and led by first-year head coach Patryk Tenorio.

While LBCC, Ribet was named Second-Team All-Conference selection as a forward. After LBCC, he signed a National Letter of Intent to Hope International University on a full scholarship where he continued for two more seasons and was named team captain and the League's Most Valuable Player.

"I am extremely proud of the success that Ribet has obtained," said Head Coach Cameron Beaulac. "He has worked hard and continues to put in the extra effort that it takes to become successful. He is role model that many of our Vikings can look up to."

The Los Angeles Force is currently in their fall season.
