Volleyball and Track & Field’s Candalot Signs NLI to Utah State

It was recently announced that volleyball and track & field's Callissa Candalot signed her National Letter of Intent to NCAA Division 1 Utah State University to continue her academic and athletic endeavors.

In 2019, tri-sport athlete Candalot has conquered the court, the sand and the track. During the 2019 Spring, Candalot took fourth place in the State Championship in the javelin throw with 37.52 meters, earning herself All-State honors. She also was on the beach volleyball team, who were runners-up in the  2019 State Championship.

Then in the Fall of 2019, Candalot and the indoor volleyball team advanced to the first round of the Southern California Regional Playoffs. Candalot earned Second-Team All-Conference honors with 250 kills, 57 blocks and had a .340 hitting percentage in the outside hitter position.

Candalot will be competing in track & field for the Aggies under third-year Head Coach/Director of Track & Field – Throws, Matt Ingebritsen. The Aggies compete in the Mountain West Conference.
