Track & Field Performs at South Coast Conference Prelims

The track & field team recently competed in the South Coast Conference Prelims at East Los Angeles College to place themselves for the Conference Championships on Saturday, April 23.

For the men's team, freshman Azjani McGill was the stand out for the Vikings as he placed second in the 100-meter and the 200-meter runs, and then took first in the long jump with a 6.94-meter mark.

On the women's side, freshman Taj Grant took second in the 400 hurdles with a time of 1:06.41. Freshman Destinee Reid placed third in the 100-meter and fourth in the 200-meter run to move onto the Conference finals.
