Jackson Signs NLI to Long Beach State

Long Beach City College Track and Field's LaSalle Jackson signed his National Letter of Intent to NCAA Division I Long Beach State University to pursue his education and track and field at the next level.

This season, Jackson placed third in the men's triple jump at the California Community College Athletic Association State Championships with a personal best leap of 14.97m (49'2") and also earned an All-American Award.

The Long Beach State University Track and Field team is led by 31-year Head Coach and Director of Track and Field, Andy Sythe. The Beach competes in the Big West Conference.
