Danny Katene Marindin joins the Long Beach City College Athletic Department as an Athletic Equipment Technician. A born and bred Long Beach native, who is bilingual in Spanish. He earned his Master’s degree in Sport Management at California State University, Long Beach and he realized that he loved working directly with athletes, coaches, and teams. He has been helping LBCC Athletics for the past five years. He has also gained valuable experience at Golden West College in Huntington Beach as an Athletic Equipment Technician and in Game Operations. Danny is an avid sports fan of traditional and non-traditional sports; lacrosse and rugby ranking high on the list. In his spare time, he hopes to expand lacrosse in the city of Long Beach.
