Jimmie Flowers has been a proud member of the Long Beach City College community for 30+ years. His current title is Equipment Technician in the Athletic department and has been serving in that position since June 2003.

Education: Graduated from Long Beach City College with Associate of Arts degree in Communication.

2019 Classified institute Scholarship recipient.

Outside of athletics, Mr. Flowers played an integral part in reinstituting the LBCC Classified Senate. He is currently serving as their Vice-President. He continues to seek personal and professional improvement. “As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another" Pr. 27:17.

Next, He helped spearhead and support the LBCC Male summit an event we have on campus to inspire middle school, high school, and college students. Mr. Flowers currently serves on committees at the local middle schools. He believes that serving the youth reinvigorates us all.
