Randy Beckman joined the Long Beach City College Athletics Department in August of 2012. Currently, he is the athletic trainer overseeing Football, Men’s Basketball, Men’s Volleyball, and Men’s Track and field.

Randy is a graduate of California State University, Long Beach where he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Athletic Training. He was Board Certified in 2012.

In conjunction with his time at LBCC he has spent time as a part time certified athletic trainer at Rio Hondo College, El Camino College, and Compton College. Additionally, he worked as a Sports Performance Coach at Velocity Sport Performance.

Randy is a Preceptor for the Athletic Training Educational Program and students from California State University, Long Beach and Long Beach City College.

Randy was born and raised in Portland, OR and currently lives in Lakewood, CA.
