Meet the Doctors



Dr. Quincy Wang
Team Physician

A graduate of the Hahnemann University School of Medicine in Philadelphia Pennsylvania in 1994, Dr. Wang became Board Certified, American Board of Family Practice, in 1999.  He earned the CAQ Sports Medicine, American Board of Family Practice in 2011.

Dr. Wang practices Family Medicine for Kaiser Permanente in Long Beach.  He is a Clinical Instructor at Harbor-UCLA/Kaiser Permanente Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellowship at Kaiser South Bay, as well as an instructor and Medical Director for the Athletic Training Educational Program at California State University, Long Beach.  He can be found on the sidelines at Cerritos High School football games as their team physician, and when the need arises, athletic trainer. 

Among many other volunteer events, Dr. Wang has served as the Lead Physician Long Beach Venues for the Special Olympics World Games Los Angeles and Venue Physician for Special Olympics USA Games in Long Beach and Seattle Washington, respectively.

In 2014, Dr. Wang was awarded the Physician of the Year, Family Medicine Department, Kaiser Permanente South Bay Medical Center.

Graduated from Medical School in the top 25% of his class from Columbia University (1990) 
Areas of special expertise are sports medicine, arthroscopic reconstructive knee and shoulder surgery as well as general orthopedics.
