LBCC Beach Volleyball Cruises Past Ventura, 4-1

The Long Beach City College women's beach volleyball squad traveled to Doheny State Beach on Friday to face off against the Ventura College Pirates. The Vikings were nearly unbeatable once against by defeating the Pirates by the final score of 4-1.

Sophomore Sarah Miller (Long Beach, CA) and freshman Paige Panter (Southlake, TX) cruised to a match victory in two sets on court one. Freshman Marina Adolpho (Long Beach, CA) and sophomore Jessica Kaeka (Long Beach, CA) followed suit on court two, while freshman Jordan Diaz (La Habra, CA) and sophomore Breanna Torres (Long Beach, CA) matched the two-set victory on court three.

Sophomore tandum Geraldine Poon and Kassidy Harrington (Anaheim, CA) earned a victory on court five, while freshman duo Jasmine Palacios (Downey, CA) and Telesia Vasquez (Long Beach, CA) won in three sets.

The Vikings (4-0) will look to remain undefeated as they travel to Irvine Valley College to take on the Saddleback College Gauchos on Wednesday, March 8th at 1 p.m.
