Vikings Beach Volleyball Pairs Advance to 3C2A State Championships
Two Long Beach City College’s beach volleyball pairs are headed to the 3C2A State Pairs Championships.
After strong performances at the SoCal Regionals held at Mt. SAC, Long Beach City College's beach volleyball pairs are headed to the 3C2A State Pairs Championships on May 9–10 at the Beach Courts, hosted by LBCC.
The Vikings' duo of Mikayla Curry and Kaylani Moncada secured the No. 11 seed, while Tyreana Allen and Enaya Vaielua earned the No. 18 seed to qualify for the state event.
Allen and Vaielua will compete in Pool 2 on Friday morning, May 9, facing off against Gibbs/Rivera (Feather River), Hazelton/Borick (Moorpark), and Ceballos/Castillo (Mt. SAC).
Curry and Moncada will hit the sand in Pool 3 at 1 p.m., with matchups against Bamba/Spires (Palomar), Smith/Timm (Monterey Peninsula), and Griffiths/Nielsen (El Camino).
