Tyler Jackson is set to assume the role of Director of Volleyball Operations at Long Beach City College. Her journey began as the Interim Head Coach for both indoor and beach volleyball in 2020, and later, she earned the position of Director of Volleyball Operations in 2022. Having served as the assistant coach under Misty May-Treaner for four years, Jackson played a crucial role in guiding the indoor volleyball team to two conference championships and securing playoff berths consistently. Additionally, she contributed to the beach volleyball team's remarkable achievements, including two consecutive undefeated conference championships and consistent placement in the top three at the state championships every year.

Jackson started her volleyball career at Lakewood High School, where she competed on the varsity team for three years while earning multiple student-athlete of the week awards. She also made the California Interscholastic Federation semi-finals her senior year and was named into the Lakewood Hall of Fame.

Jackson then took her skills and knowledge to Long Beach State University (LBSU), where she flourished as the Libero. She garnered multiple Defensive Athlete of the Week awards, took her skills to the beach, and earned a Beach Volleyball National Championship with an undefeated record. At LBSU, she was named to the All-Conference First-Team and Big West Conference Libero of the Year in 2015.

After earning her bachelor's in Sociology and minor in Communications, she began to play professionally for the Blizzard Professional League, which allowed her to travel from Orlando, Florida to Tokyo, Japan. While coaching at LBCC, she earned a Master of Arts in Kinesiology from Fresno Pacific University.
