Baseball Boasts Eight All- Conference Selections
It was recently announced that eight Long Beach City College baseball players earned All-SCC South Division Team honors.
It was recently announced that eight Long Beach City College baseball players earned All-South Coast Conference (SCC) South Division Team honors. Head Coach Casey Crook also was named the SCC Coach of the Year. This is seventh SCC Coach of the Year title for Crook, and ninth SCC Championship under his helm, six of which have been in the past seven years.
Freshman infielder and pitcher Matthew Pinal was named the Conference Most Valuable Player as he batted .320, with 23 RBIs, and totaled seven saves on the mound with 38 strikeouts, and had a 3.92 ERA.
