In a hard-fought match on Tuesday afternoon, the Long Beach City College Vikings baseball squad faced a tough 3-12 loss against the Santa Ana College Dons.

Pitcher Myles Dismute (4-2) took the mound but unfortunately suffered the loss, giving up two runs on two hits to the Dons.

The Dons swiftly took the lead, scoring three runs by the third inning. Despite a valiant effort from the Vikings, who managed to bring in a run with an RBI single from Luke Davis, driving in Noah Lomeli, the Dons maintained their dominance, adding four more runs by the sixth inning.

AJ Quezada managed to add another run in the bottom of the sixth due to a Don error and he later scored the Vikings' final run in the bottom of the eighth thanks to a wild pitch.

Although the Vikings ultimately fell short with a 12-3 loss, they are determined to bounce back strong in their upcoming game against Mt. San Antonio at 2 p.m.
