The No. 8 Vikings Baseball team secured their ticket to the Super Regionals by eliminating No. 17 Southwestern College with a commanding 4-0 shutout victory in Game 2. They now gear up for a double elimination round against No. 13 Riverside and No. 1 Cerritos on Thursday, May 9 - Saturday, May 11.

Myles Dismute (5-4) delivered a dominant performance on the mound, limiting the Jaguars to just four hits over eight innings. Max Sasaki entered in the final inning to close out the game and preserve the shutout.

The Vikings ignited their offense in the fifth inning when Caleb Brandon's RBI single brought Davis Grawey home. Grawey continued to make an impact, driving in Ryan Geck with an RBI double in the sixth inning, capping off a stellar four-for-four performance at the plate.

Olin Snakenborg added to the Vikings' lead with an RBI double, scoring Brandon and solidifying the team's 4-0 victory in the regional playoffs.
