Vikings Head to No. 5 Glendale for SoCal Regional Playoffs

The No. 20/21 Long Beach City College Baseball team is headed to the postseason and will face No. 5 Glendale College in the opening round of the 3C2A SoCal Regional Playoffs. The best-of-three series begins Friday, May 2, with Game 1 set to take place at Glendale College. Game 2—and if necessary, Game 3—will follow on Saturday, May 3, also at Glendale.

The Vikings enter the postseason after finishing 12-12 in the highly competitive South Coast Conference and 19-21 overall. Despite a challenging regular season, Long Beach secured a playoff berth and is poised to make a strong run in the Regionals.

The 3C2A Baseball Championship brackets are now live, marking the start of an intense playoff journey. Teams from across the state will compete in two rounds of NorCal and SoCal regional action, all aiming to advance to the State Championship tournament hosted at Mt. San Antonio College from May 24–26.
