Six Vikings Earn All-South Coast Conference Honors
The No. 20-ranked Vikings baseball team was well-represented on the 2025 All-South Coast Conference team.
The No. 20-ranked Long Beach City College baseball team was well-represented on the 2025 All-South Coast Conference team, with six standout student-athletes earning postseason recognition for their performances this season.
Sophomore center fielder Danny Rodriguez was named to the First Team All-SCC after an outstanding year at the plate, finishing with a .423 batting average, four triples, two home runs, and 26 RBIs.
Sophomore right-handed pitcher Myles Dismute earned Second Team All-SCC honors for the second consecutive year. Dismute posted a perfect 3-0 record with a 1.93 ERA, tallying 35 strikeouts over 37.1 innings pitched.
Freshman utility player Aaron Mingo was also named to the Second Team, contributing both offensively and on the mound. He batted .284 with two home runs and 19 RBIs while pitching 21.1 innings for the Vikings.
Freshman first baseman Max Ghiglieri joined the Second Team after hitting .390 with nine doubles, one home run, and 20 RBIs in his debut season.
Sophomore right fielder Ryan Lopetegui, a two-time All-SCC selection, earned Second Team honors after leading the SCC in both home runs (10) and slugging percentage (.748). He batted .369 and drove in 33 runs on the year.
The Vikings return to postseason action on Friday, May 2, when they travel to face No. 5 Glendale College at 2 p.m. in the opening round of the SoCal Regional Playoffs.
