Former LBCC standout Jon Rodriguez returns for his seventh season as a member of the coaching staff in 2018.

Rodriguez was a key member of LBCC's 2006 state championship squad.

In 2017, Rodriguez helped lead the Vikings to their second-consecutive SCC-South Conference Championship. The Vikings boasted 10 SCC-South Conference selections for their outstanding performances during the season. LBCC fell in the CCCAA Sectional Playoff Round against Grosmont after strong offensive and defensive performances in Regional and Super Regional play. They ended their season with an overall record of 30-16-1, going 17-5 in conference play.
