The 2022 Long Beach City College football season will continue on into the postseason. On Sunday, the California Community College Athletic Association (CCCAA) announced the Vikings will face the Cerritos College Falcons in the Western State Bowl.

The game is set for Saturday, Nov. 26 at Cerritos' Falcon Stadium in Norwalk. Kickoff is schedule for 6 p.m.

The Vikings have reached the postseason for the seventh time over the past 11 seasons and have won five straight bowl games. In 2015, LBCC defeated the Falcons in the Southern California Bowl by a final score of 34-30 in Norwalk.

The 2022 Vikings recently wrapped up the regular season with a 5-5 overall record and finished tied for fourth place in the National Northern League at 2-3.

Cerritos brings a 7-3 overall mark into the bowl game and was third at 3-2 in the final National Central League standings.
