Jones threw 433 yards passing with five touchdowns and zero interceptions to help #6 RCC dominate #21 Mt. San Jacinto 76-16 ... had 19 completions, including one for 69 yards ... also rushed four times for 52 yards and scored a touchdown ... leads the state in passing yards per game (383.0) and passing touchdowns (17).
Defensive: Jonah Martinez, Long Beach (DB, 6-1, 190, So., Orange, CA/Alemany HS)
Martinez totaled 3 interceptions in Long Beach's double-overtime victory at Cerritos. His biggest interception of the night came in the second OT period inside the LBCC end zone to close the game and secure the Vikings' win.
Special Teams/All-Purpose: Charles Viorel, Fullerton (K, 5-10, 170, So., Wilmington, CA/Laney HS)
Viorel had a busy night going 7 for 7 on point-after attempts, while kicking off 7 times for a total of 445 yards and 2 touchbacks. He also added one booming punt for 51 yards that landed inside the 20-yard line.
