Bio
Former LBCC standout quarterback Neo Aoga returns for his 22nd season as a member of Viking coaching staff in 2022. Aoga serves as assistant head coach and wide receivers coach.
In 2017, Aoga helped led the Vikings to their third-consecutive National Central conference championship with a 55-48 win over conference rival El Camino College. The Vikings also won their third-consecutive bowl game beating Bakersfield College to take home the Patriotic Bowl title. LBCC posted an overall record of 8-3, going 4-1 in conference play.
Aoga is quite possibly the greatest quarterback to ever take the field for the Vikings – and his numbers prove it.
He shattered almost every LBCC passing record, including most passing yards in a season (3,626), most passing yards in a career (6,652), most touchdowns in a season (37), and most career touchdown passes (59).
In 1995, he was named National Junior College Player of the Year and guided the Vikings to a perfect 11-0 record and a national championship.
Following his career at LBCC, Aoga continued playing at Azusa Pacific. After college, Aoga played for NFL Europe’s Barcelona Dragons and the Canadian Football League’s Saskatchewan Rough Riders.
