The Long Beach City College men's basketball team took down the El Camino College Warriors 88-53 on Wednesday evening in the Hall of Champions. With the win, the Vikings hold an 8-8 overall record, and are now 1-0 in the South Coast Conference.
The Vikings opened the game with a pair of free throws from freshman forward Kameron Mayhan to open the game with the lead. Mayhan earned the only double-double for the Vikings as he finished the game with 10 points and 12 rebounds.
Freshman guard Lorenzo Marsh led the Vikings with 15 points and seven assists, while also tallying seven rebounds. Sophomore guard Khieem Williams, freshman forward Shane Hunter and freshman guard all put up double digits in points to secure the Vikings 88-53 conference win.
The Vikings will return to the court on Friday, Jan. 21 at LA Southwest at 5 p.m.
