No. 20 men's basketball team (17-11) is set to travel to No. 13 Irvine Valley College (18-10) for Round 1 of the California Community College Athletic Association SoCal Regional Playoffs.

The Vikings were just crowned South Coast Conference South-Division Co-Champions with LA Southwest and Cerritos College, all with a 7-3 record in the division.

The Irvine Valley College Lasers took fourth place in the Orange Empire Conference with a 9-7 record. The last time the Vikings met with the Lasers was in 2015, where the Vikings fell 88-58 in the Irvine Valley Classic Tournament.

SoCal Regional Playoff ticket prices are $12 (adults) and $8 (students, children). No conference passes will be accepted. Parking is free at Irvine Valley College. No testing or proof of vaccination is required. Masks, covering the nose and mouth at all times, are required by district policy.

No animals are permitted at any location on campus. Only certified assistance animals are permitted, and proof of certification will be required at entrance.
