The Long Beach City College men's basketball team triumphed over the Rio Hondo College Roadrunners in a thrilling 94-93 victory last Friday night in their home opener.
Freshman point guard Lawrence Brown led the offensive charge, posting an impressive 25 points. Sophomore wing Kane Young contributed 17 points and four rebounds, while sophomore wing Major Hurley made his presence felt under the basket with 11 rebounds and four assists. Sophomore wing Kason White added solid support with 16 points and five rebounds.
The Vikings return to action on Friday, Nov. 15, facing off against Riverside City College at 5 p.m.
