Men's Soccer: Harty scores twice in 2-0 Long Beach win over Pasadena
Freshman forward Tim Harty (pictured) scored a pair of goals to provide all the offense in a 2-0 Long Beach City College win over visiting Pasadena City College on Tuesday. The South Coast Conference win improved LBCC to 7-6-6 overall and 4-5-4 in the SCC.

Freshman forward Tim Harty (pictured) scored a pair of goals to provide all the offense in a 2-0 Long Beach City College win over visiting Pasadena City College on Tuesday. The South Coast Conference win improved LBCC to 7-6-6 overall and 4-5-4 in the SCC.
After a scoreless first half, Harty headed in a cross pass from the right corner by Luis Reynoso to give LBCC a 1-0 lead in the 56th minute.
Harty closed out the scoring with a goal off a long pass down the middle from Robert Burgos in the 61st minute.
Freshman Jesus Gutierrez posted four saves in goal for the Vikings. Long Beach outshot Pasadena (7-9-4, 2-8-3 SCC) by a 24-12 margin.
Long Beach closes out the South Coast Conference schedule on Thursday (Nov. 10) when it travels to El Camino College for a 1 pm game.
