The No. 12 nationally-ranked Long Beach City College men's soccer team played San Diego City College to a 2-2 draw on Wednesday in a non-conference game in San Diego.
Freshman Alex Martinez (Artesia HS, pictured) scored both goals for the Vikings.
Tuesday's game was the second meeting of the season and 14th since 2008 between the two rivals. Last Friday, SDCC pulled off the 2-1 upset over the then No. 11-ranked Vikings.
Long Beach is now 2-1-2 overall returns to action on Friday (Sep 20) when it travels to Rio Hondo College for a 4 p.m. non-conference game.
