Long Beach City College men's soccer co-head coaches Cameron Beaulac and Pat Noyes were recently named the South Coast Conference Coaches of the Year while four other Vikings also received postseason conference honors.

Beaulac and Noyes were named conference coaches of the year for the third time over their 10 seasons at LBCC after leading the Vikings to the postseason for the seventh time. Long Beach was one of six SCC teams to reach the playoffs and closed the season with a 7-6-8 overall record. LBCC was unbeaten over its last seven conference games and posted the second highest strength of schedule rating in the state to earn its playoff spot.

Freshmen midfielders Joel Atilano (Artesia HS) and Jose Garcia (Artesia HS) were first-team All-South Coast Conference selections, sophomore defender Robert Burgos (Millikan HS) was a second-team pick, and freshman goalkeeper Kifi Cabrera (Poly HS) received honorable mention.
