The Long Beach City College men's soccer team had its three-game winning streak snapped after dropping a 4-0 non-conference game to No. 4 nationally-ranked Rio Hondo College on Friday in Whittier. With the loss, the Vikings fell to 4-2-1 overall.

Rio Hondo built a 4-0 halftime lead and was never threatened. Long Beach had its chances against the Roadrunners but couldn't find the back of the net. Rio Hondo goalkeeper Edwin Elizarraraz was credited with 10 saves.

LBCC returns action on Tuesday (Sept. 29) at 4 p.m. when the Vikings open South Coast Conference play at home against rival Cerritos College.
