The Long Beach City College Viking men's soccer team continued action on Tuesday evening by facing off against Southwestern on the road. Long Beach continued to struggle by conceding three goals in the first half en route to a 0-3 defeat.
The Vikings totaled 10 shots with four landing on frame. Additionally, Long Beach picked up its play in the second half by not allowing a score in the final 45 minutes of action.
Long Beach (0-2-0) will take to their home pitch on Friday, September 2 to face off against Golden West (1-0-0) for their home opener at 4 p.m. on the Viking Soccer Field.
