The Long Beach City College men's soccer team hit the road to face off against L.A. Harbor in conference action after a reschedule. The Vikings were able to edge L.A. Harbor due in part to freshman forward Carlos Maldonado leading the offensive charge with a hat trick en route to a 3-2 victory.

Maldonado was seemingly untouchable in the contest and proved difficult to mark through the duration of the contest. He began his scoring venture in the 25th minute after he linked up with freshman midfielder Jesus Gudino for the netter.

Long Beach continued to press in the contest and Maldonado continued to control the pace by carting a heavy foot en route to two more scoring in the second half. Sophomore midfielder Jamie Salazar facilitated both scores en route to the victory.

Freshman goalkeeper Saul Ocampo recorded his third victory of the season by making four stops in 90 minutes of work.

The Vikings (3-6-3, 2-1-1 SCC) continue action today against Chaffey College on the road at 4 p.m.
