The nationally ranked No. 18 Long Beach City College men’s soccer team defeated the LA Harbor Seahawks 1-0 in an offensive battle on Friday evening at the Viking Soccer Field.

The nationally ranked No. 18 Long Beach City College men's soccer team defeated the LA Harbor Seahawks 1-0 in an offensive battle on Friday evening at the Viking Soccer Field.
After a first wide shot, freshman midfielder Angel Villalobos tried took his second shot and scored the only goal of the game in the 37th minute. Freshman midfielder Martin Razo was on the assist for Villalobos.
Long Beach was dominant on offense the entire game. The Vikings fought hard against the Seahawks and totaled 14 shots to put the LA Harbor goalkeeper to work. Viking goalkeeper Mario DeLaTorre held his own in the cage for the shut-out and had five saves for Long Beach.
The Vikings are back in action on Tuesday, Nov. 6 at Compton College at 5 p.m.
