Men’s Soccer Reels in Four All-Conference Athletes
Three Long Beach City College men's soccer athletes earned All-SCC honors following a 3-3-2 conference record.
It was recently announced by the South Coast Conference (SCC) that three Long Beach City College men's soccer athletes earned All-SCC honors following a 3-3-2 conference record. Freshman forward Gustavo Cervantes and sophomore midfielder Jaelyn Agu took home First-Team honors, while sophomore midfielders Sergio Flores and Alexander Moreno both earned Second-Team accolades.
Cervantes earned First-Team honors by leading the team with eight assists during the season. Agu took home First-Team recognition for his three goals and three assists. This was Agu's second All-SCC selections as last year he earned Second-Team honors.
Flores reeled in a Second-Team selection for the second-consecutive year for his four goals and seven assists. Moreno rounded out the Second-Team honors for his four goals and three assists for the Vikings.
The men's soccer team will return next Fall.
