The Long Beach City College men's soccer team battled visiting Los Angeles Mission College for 90 minutes on Tuesday but neither team was able to score resulting in a 0-0 tie.

With the draw, the Vikings' overall record moved to 2-1-3 this season.

LBCC totaled 12 shots in the contest, including five on goal, but couldn't find the back of the net. Oliver Juarez did his part in goal for the Vikings, posting the shutout on his end with two saves.

Long Beach returns to action on Friday (Sep. 24) when the Vikings travel to Orange Coast College for a 3 p.m. non-conference game.
