The Long Beach City College men's soccer team defeated the Antelope Valley College Marauders 2-0 on Tuesday afternoon. With the win, the Vikings hold a 3-1-2 overall record.
The Vikings offense was on fire as they totaled 24 shots on the Marauders. In the first half, forward Diego Albanez was able to put the Vikings on the board with the assist from forward Jesus Moreno.
After seven shots, Moreno final connected with the net and scored the Vikings' second goal in the 61st minute, with help from midfielder Jesus Moreno.
The Vikings will return to the field on Friday, Sept. 16 at 6 p.m. at KLAC.
