The Long Beach City College men's soccer team fell to the Los Angeles City College Cubs 1-0 on Tuesday afternoon. With the loss, the Vikings hold a 6-3-1 overall record and are 0-1 in the South Coast Conference.
The Cubs scored in the 88th minute of the game to take the win away from the Vikings.
Goalkeeper Everado Morales had four saves against five shots on the goal for the Vikings.
"We started out slow and didn't create enough opportunities for ourselves," said Head Coach and Director of Soccer Operation Jorge Reyes. "This is just a bump in the road and our goal stays the same."
The Vikings will be back in action on Friday, Oct. 3 at Compton College at 2 p.m.
