The 2015 Long Beach City College men's volleyball season came to a crashing end after a 3-1 loss at Orange Coast College in the California Community College Athletic Association (CCCAA) State Championship quarterfinals.

LBCC, the Western State Conference No. 3 seed, lost the match by scores of 25-19, 25-18, 25-22, 25-16 to close out the year with a 13-6 overall record. The Vikings made their 10th straight postseason appearance but couldn't get past Orange Coast to reach the State Final Four for the first time since 2012.

Sophomore Adam Wadley (Wilson HS) and freshman Austin Amian (Honolulu, HI) both had 14 digs and freshman Cesar Renteria (Bell HS) led the Vikings with five blocks.

Orange Coast, the Pacific Coast Athletic Conference No. 2 seed, improved to 16-5 and will face WSC champion Santa Monica College in the state championship semifinals on Thursday in San Diego.
