Men's Water Polo: Vikings improve to 5-1 with 19-9 rout at Mt. SAC
Long Beach City College freshman Giorgio La Rosa (Catania, Italy) totaled seven goals, six steals, and three assists to help lead the Vikings to a 19-9 South Coast Conference win at Mt. San Antonio College on Wednesday. With the victory, LBCC improved to 5-1 overall and 2-0 in SCC play.

Long Beach held an 8-2 lead after the first quarter and was up 14-5 at halftime.
La Rosa's seven goals was a season-high for the Vikings. Sophomores Connor Shuey (Las Vegas, NV), Max Taylor (Las Vegas, NS), and freshman Teo Dadic (Dubrovnic, Croatia) all scored three goals. Taylor added four assists, while Dadic chipped in with three assists and three steals.
Sophomore Noah Borin (Vista Murrieta HS) totaled eight first-half saves while freshman Nick Wood (Newport Harbor HS) closed out the win with five saves.
Long Beach returns to action this weekend (Oct. 9-10) when the Vikings will compete at the two-day Riverside City College Invitational tournament.
