The men's water polo team conquered the El Camino Warriors in a 25-9 win on Wednesday afternoon at the LBCC Aquatics Facility. Freshman center Karlo Krmek led the team with scoring five goals for the Vikings.

The game started with a bang with the two teams scoring back and forth. The Vikings left the first quarter only up by three points and with sophomore attackers Mario Moran and Myles Martinez each talling a steal.

The Vikings picked up the offensive pace in the second half with scoring 14 goals from Felipe Carsalade, Aaron Mowl, Benjamin Neppel, Ian Dretzka, Karlo Krmek, Carl Matthews and Alec Burke to seal the 25-9 conference win for LBCC.

Goalkeepers Carl Matthews and Andrew Marchena each put in two quarters in the cage and had four saves total.

The men's water polo team will play again on Friday, Sept. 22 at the Cuesta College Invitational.
