It was recently announced that four men's water polo athletes earned All-Conference selections, following their third-place showing in the SCC Tournament.
Sophomore attacker Michael Minera earned his second First-Team honors as he totaled 75 goals, 29 assists, and 21 steals. Freshman defender Sandro Pueyo nabbed his First-Team selection by having 63 goals, 39 assists, 25 steals, and nine blocks.
Freshman attacker Colley Ochoa nabbed Second-Team honors for being quick on the outside with 63 goals, 26 assists, and totaled 35 steals. Sophomore Goalkeeper Blake Borders also reeled in Second-Team honors with tallying 216 saves.
The men's water polo team will return to the pool at the 3C2A State Championships on Nov. 16 at the College of Marin. Stay tuned to LCCVikings.com for more information.
