Men’s Cross Country: Torres’ seventh-place finish leads Long Beach to 11th at Fresno Invitational

Long Beach City College sophomore Omar Torres ran 20:57.58 to lead the Vikings with a seventh-place finish at the Fresno Invitational on Saturday. As a team, LBCC totaled 306 points to finish in 11th out of 19 squads.

Sophomore Justin Weaver was the Vikings' next finisher in 42nd place, clearing the four-mile Woodward Park course with a time of 22:03.66.

Long Beach returns to action on September 19 when it will compete at the SoCal Preview Meet at Woodley Park in Van Nuys.
