LBCC Women, Men finish seventh at Mt. SAC Invitational
Both the Long Beach City College women's and men's cross country teams finish in seventh place at the Mt. SAC Collegiate Invitational.

The Lady Vikings were again led by sophomore Ailene Rios (9th overall) who ran a near-lifetime best 19:14.4 on the hilly course. Natalie Mejia was second for the Vikings running a season-best time 20:45.2. Emerging into the third finisher for the Vikings this week was newcomer Jamileth Alvarado who ran a personal-best time of 23:58.7.
 
On the Men's side, Freshman standout Riki Moscoso led the Vikings through a difficult 4mi course finishing 19th of 125 runners with a time of 22:24.5. He was followed by fellow freshman Noah Macias (23:32.3) and Alejandro Garcia (23:48.1). Viking XC teams compete next at the South Coast Conference Championships on October 28th in Palos Verdes.
