Softball Graduates Eight Athletes

Long Beach City College Softball announced that eight Vikings walked the graduation stage this year. Four athletes will be joining NCAA D. III schools and competing in the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, while another four athletes will be continuing their education at the next level.

Sophomore outfielder Alia Marquez will be going to Whittier College to continue her softball career under Head Coach Trisha Senyo.

Sophomore outfielder Jasmine Delgado signed with Cal Lutheran University under Head Coach Debby Day.

Sophomore pitcher Ashley Hester will be joining the squad at Chapman University, which is fronted by Janet Lloyd.

Sophomore pitcher and outfielder Kirstin Sanchez signed with the University of La Verne under Head Coach Dennis Blas.

Sophomore pitcher Olivia Ramirez will be attending CSU Long Beach, while sophomore infielder Brianna Nunez will be joining the LBCC Nursing Program. Freshman utility Anna Val Hernandez and sophomore infielder Gladys Garcia are still undecided.
