Vikings Advance to Super Regionals Against El Camino College

El Camino
After a dominant performance over Bakersfield College in the SoCal Regional Playoffs, the No. 4 Long Beach City College softball team is headed to the Super Regional Playoffs, where they will host No. 5 El Camino College. The best-of-three series begins Friday, May 9 at 2 p.m. and continues Saturday, May 10 at 12 p.m., with Game 3 to follow if necessary.
The Vikings and El Camino are no strangers this season, having met three times in South Coast Conference play. LBCC came out on top in two of those matchups, ultimately clinching the South Coast Conference Championship title.
The winner of this weekend's Super Regional series will punch their ticket to the prestigious 3C2A State Championships, hosted by West Valley College and San Jose City College.
