Long Beach City College sophomore pitcher Hailey Harris has been named to the 2025 NFCA Cal JC All-America Team, the National Fastpitch Coaches Association announced Wednesday afternoon.
Harris earns the prestigious honor after a dominant regular season in the circle, posting a 25-3 record with a 1.12 ERA over 181 innings pitched. She recorded 10 shutouts and held opposing hitters to a .179 batting average.
The NFCA Cal JC All-America awards recognize the top players from California junior colleges. Student-athletes must be nominated by their NFCA-member head coaches and are selected through a vote of coaches within their region. The NFCA is the leading organization for fastpitch softball coaches, offering professional development, recognition, and advocacy for the sport.
Harris's recognition adds to an already impressive postseason for the Vikings, who are currently ranked in the top 4 in the state and set to host No. 5 El Camino College in the CCCAA Super Regionals today at 2 p.m.
